Randall Thompson is founder and managing partner of Your Campaign Coaches LLC.  For more than two decades, Randall has worked in the highest level of state and federal politics.

He has served as a Chief of Staff in both the Michigan House of Representatives and the United States Congress. Additionally, he has served as Spokesman and Communications Director for the Michigan Attorney General and Michigan Secretary of State. Randall also served as Communications Director and Spokesman for the fourth highest ranking member of the United States Congress.  Outside of public service, he served as the Midwest Director for a major Washington DC based issue advocacy organization covering Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Illinois and Pennsylvania campaigning for lower taxes, less government and more freedom,

Randall’s company, Pulse Communications, offers a full array of consulting for state, federal and issue campaigns specializing in campaign message development, communication, social media and delivery.

He has appeared on CNN, FoxNews and Court TV and has been quoted in many major newspapers across America.

In 2004, he was awarded a Legislative Tribute from the Michigan House of Representatives for his years of commitment to public service.  Most recently, Randall was recognized for his work on helping to defeat Proposal 1 in Michigan – by the largest margin for a public initiative in Michigan’s history (80%-20%).

Randall also currently teaches an 8 hour campaign training school in which he walks class participants through what to do before they even think of running for office – all the way down on how to plan their victory night celebrations.

He holds a Bachelor of Science from Central Michigan University and a Masters of Science in Economics from the University of Detroit-Mercy studying under professor Harry Veryser.

In his spare time, Randall loves playing golf, listening to the Goo Goo Dolls and Metallica and is a huge fan of Game of Thrones. After being born and raised in Michigan, Randall and his wife Colleen, along with their daughter McKenna, recently moved to Inverness, Florida and every fall he is a frequent visitor back to Michigan and Illinois to attend his son’s college football games.

Family:
As the son of Polish Immigrants, Andrew Rocky Raczkowski was taught the importance of work hard, service and respect for others. Rocky and his wife, Amalia (formerly Amalia Kaddo of Grosse Pointe, Michigan) were married on April, 2010, they were blessed with a daughter, Sofia Christina in 2014. They currently reside in Troy, Michigan.

Military Service:
In 1986, at the age of 17 and while still in High School, Rocky enlisted in the U.S. Army Reserve and volunteered for the Infantry. During his military service he attended and graduated from college and was commissioned an Officer in the
United States Army. Upon commissioning, he entered the Infantry Officer Basic Course at Ft. Benning, GA. while being activated to serve on orders during Operation Desert Shield. Throughout his 26 year military career Rocky has also served our Nation with great honor rising from Private and retiring
as a Lt. Colonel. In 2003 he was sent on his first overseas tour of duty in the Global War on Terror serving our Nation as an US Army – B Team Leader in a Civil Affairs Special Operations – Airborne unit. During this service in Operation Enduring Freedom in the Horn of Africa (Somalia) Rocky was awarded the Bronze Star Medal for meritorious service during Combat operations. Lt Colonel Raczkowski was called for overseas activations under Operation Enduring Freedom again in 2008 to 2009. In 2014 Rocky retired from the Army at the rank of a Lt. Colonel.

Job Creator:
After returning home to Michigan following service in Operation Desert Storm, Rocky started his 1st Company, providing printing, marketing and advertising. On a professional level, Rocky has served on many corporate boards providing
service to grow jobs in Michigan. Building on his reputation as a turn-around expert, he led a national entertainment company from near bankruptcy to profitable success without laying off a single employee. Currently he serves as the President of Imperium Logistics LLC, a Manufacturing & Defense Logistics Company that Rocky started in 2012. The business has been building upon Michigan’s growing defense industry and today more than 80 employees work at Imperium.  He is also the Founding Partner of Your Campaign Coaches.

Public Service:
In 1998 Rocky was elected to serve his community in the Michigan House of Representatives. His colleagues recognized his leadership and elected him the youngest Majority Leader in any state legislative chamber in America. After his three terms in the Michigan House, Rocky was activated by the US Army for service in the Global War on Terrorism.
Rocky also is very active in charitable work service on the Board of Directors for ALS Michigan, and formerly the
Michigan Chapter of the Red Cross. Rocky is a frequent guest commentator on political and national security issues on radio and television, most notably on ‘Let it Rip’ on Fox 2 Detroit.

Education:
Andrew “Rocky” Raczkowski holds a BA in Political Science and Psychology from Eastern Michigan University, a Masters in Business Administration from Central Michigan University and a Juris Doctorate from the Detroit College of Law. Rocky also has a keen interest in foreign languages and speaks three fluently.
